Sounds good dude after just starting for a few weeks. I've never touched an upright bass I play guitar but I wanna learn to play upright so bad I got one I'm making payments on so I'm excited to start a new instrument and I can only imagine its harder than it looks. Keep it up dude!

Nice work for practicing a few weeks! It feels good when you get past the blisters and get calluses on your slap/pluck hand and the forearm soreness and cramps on your fretting arm/hand.

No it won't. You can't use nylon / gut strings on an electric and even if you do slap steels on it, it won't ever have quite the same tone as a big wooden box.
