i know this is 1 year old comment but i hope you know ylod only occurs every 4 to 5 years while xbox overheats every 6- 12 months....Own both love both but this is fact.

I just don't understand all the stories about the RROD (spelled right?) I have a Xbox 360 and it works perfectly! No RROD's at all.

I've noticed that the intros for consoles all have these electronic orchestras almost alien sound to them. Actaully the same could be said about about the PS1. To me the PS1 intro music is the most epic in history. That thing used to scare the hell out of me when I turn it on and the volume is up higher than expected^^ When I think about it the Sega Genesis and SNES had epic music too. If I could I would like to own all consoles. Sigh nostalgia.

you know if you get a refurbished 360 its not that bad. ive had mine for a year and only got the red ring of death ONCE and that was because it was unplugge. i honestly dont see what the problem is. i love my xbox, and honestly think people who complain about it are just playstation fanboys. and to be honest i own every console and love the all. i think ps3 and xbox360 are just as good, and god forgive me, but the wii is pretty cool to. so youknow why be a fan boy, its just fuckin stupid as fuk

@musicatonnetwork actually the eliete does get the rrod my friend had an eliete that got the rrod. so umm yeah and ive had the rrod 3 times where i had to send in my xbox in. so soon i gon buy a ps3 cuz ms is ripping me off espically with xbl.
