I see native people as tall, ancient evergreen trees, the normal beauty of the world, uncut, virgin ... and all that is being cut and logged away by the hoardes of "moder man". The sorry pretty world has cancer, and she sobs and cries quietly as she dies ... the cancer is modern man and his plastic and carbon-burning 'engines' and his plastic trinket-making 'plants' in China, in the USA, in other of their villages of hatred, of greed, of 'money' printing greeding into 'banks' so not to jail

This is a beautiful summary of an absolutely amazing time that many people experienced during their visit to the beautiful Cowichan Valley.
