Dexter and Lila (Season 2, Michael C. Hall and Jaime Murray)

I love all seasons of Dexter but season 2 was my favorite simply because Lila was in it.

lila started off cool ended up a little crazy..
but then again rita started off cool n now shes getting controlling as a mother fucker

i sa the last episode off season 2 yesterday and DAMMMM that was some awesome episodes!!

i didnt think season 2 wud be anywhere near as good as 1
but it was, and it was mostly because of lila
like her or not, she made the series interesting

Just finished the second season. Lila was meant to be with Dexter and he knew it that's why he killed her. He doesnt want to be happy because then he wouldn't need to kill anymore. He wasn't ready to give that up yet.

Dexter has a small conscious, and some feelings. He is genuinely content with Rita, and being with her kids makes him happy.

Lila is a complete sociopath, no conscious at all. They could never be together.

ok but lila said she was his solemate, which i think she was, they fit perfectly together, so fuck all the bull shit, like lilas about a 9 and rita is about a 6 so the choice aint tough. fuck his psyco ass, he should be getting the pussy instead.

I think the writers are tellings us something about how Dex's inability to bond. The way he is utterly uninterested in sexy/erotic images of women as Doakes points out; Rita is a total cover so he can "hide in plain sight". There is no reason for someone like Dex to like Rita at all; he is totally, 100% fake w/her; sometimes, he cant even perform in bed with her. Lila interests him caz she is a psychopath like him. But, kills her just like he killed Miguel, his only love.
