    rip ricky

  • Does he age?! Jesus! He still looks like he did in 1978.

  • wonderful

  • The B-52's are absolute musical geniuses... and I am SOOOO glad they're out. I just wish I had known they were gay back in 1980 when I first heard them @ age 15 - they instantly became my #1 favorite band. I even had a license plate on my car that read: "B-52'sR#1". I was/am in love with this band so much & back then I used to think I was their #1 fan and would daydream about meeting them & would wonder what they'd think if they knew I was gay & whether they'd accept me or not if they knew.

  • Even before I knew I was gay I knew I was different. And when I was in high school and really felt like I was the only person like me in the universe The B-52's made me feel special. They, along with Cyndi Lauper, showed me that I could be as different, strange, weird and wonderful as I wanted to be and it was all ok. I got to be an extra in their Funplex video and I was thrilled to be able to make some small contribution to this group of people who had meant so much to my life.

  • I really like the message, and I think it is very appropriate to everyone. If someone is out there cutting people down, don't take that in. He is right. This isn't just something found in childhood and the teen years. It happens in the workplace too.

  • This band has helped many "unique" individuals come out of the closet or learn to love themselves as they are and not as they wanted to be. To listen to them and to relate to them provides one with an insight that their music is truly necessary and sublime. I can only imagine that their message is about sharing the joy, loving one another and peace. peace with yourself and peace throughout The Universe. We are. Therefore, we can be! peace.

  • Awesome advise...

  • This guy is on the money; don't take it in is key.

Life is a gradual process of education. You are better off educating your self to develop than to educate your inside based on everything outside of you.
