Thomas Tyner is the top ranked running back in the country, and he chatted with Bleacher Report's Full Ride about his verbal pledge to Oregon as well as which schools are trying to talk him out of that commitment.
The 6-foot 200-pound tailback out of Aloha High School in Beaverton, Oregon tells Full Ride about what makes him a special back as well as what type of guy Chip Kelly is. Also, see Tyner do an impression of his favorite Family Guy character and hear about his Olympic aspirations.
Tyner rushed for 1,136 yards and 13 touchdowns despite missing six games as a junior. The Oregon state record holder in the 100-meter dash (10.35) rushed for 1,821 yards and 19 scores during his sophomore campaign.
Full Ride is Bleacher Report's weekly college football recruiting show that pulls back the curtain to give you the hottest news, analysis, interviews and highlights.

game speed is dictated by the schemes...if you have TEAM SPEED then the scheme is unstoppable if you have a bunch of individuals who happen to be fast you end up with last years Philadelphia eagles.

quickness and speed are 2 different things...arm strength is not what makes tom brady and p. manning great there has been QBs with stronger arms and they sucked ass! but their IQ is bar none the best in the league...their intelligence to read the field you idiot. the same with WRs who can read the field and know when to sit in between the zone and get open...you play too much madden if speed was that important then devin hester would be a 1,000 yd WR..he aint...turn the PS3 off.

tom brady has an amazing FOOTBALL IQ...if speed meant so much then why did Kenjon Barner not get drafted till the 6th round? the game is still the same as it was 40 years ago the only thing that has changed in football is SCHEMES..the best running backs in the NFL are not 4.2 guys arian foster ran a 4.7, alfred morris ran a 4.6 in the combine those guys are 2 of the best backs in football. now you want to talk about game speed....figure out which story you're trying to make up hahahahahaha

If you think brute strength is one of the huge parts of the game you are mistaken. Manning and Brady have far from brute strength, you again lack knowledge, arm strength is different because thats technique they perfected (also with size). Also since Jerry Rice, emmitt smith and so on..the game has changed, its about speed power quickness dumbass. The best players in the NFL have all, minus QB because they dont need all those assets to be successful.Game speed is different then just 40 yd dash.

Xandar stfu he's one of da best RBs in the league. Tyner, Green, Kamara, Henry, and Collins are complete backs. They aren't the fasest guys neither, but they have deceptive speed.

speed is a huge part of it? uhhhhhh brute strength and football IQ is why guys like tom brady and p. manning have 15 year careers...your athleticism will only carry you to your first knee injury you idiot, the best players of all time are not the fastest guys like jerry rice, emmitt smith, tim brown, jim brown they had amazing football IQs they didnt rely on just speed...fast dummies dont make it in the NFL...
