@MattHatter This all happened in the same year. Austin was already morphing into Stone Cold in his Ring Master days. This match takes place in January. By February, he already started shaving his head all the way bald & started growing the goatee. The announcers were referring to him as a "Stone Cold" kind of man. And by March, the Ring Master was already named as Stone Cold Steve Austin which you see in WrestleMania XII (March 31, 1996). 3 months later (June) it's King of the Ring.

@MattHatter yup this was 1/20/96, austin coined his famous "Austin 3:16" phrase five months later at the 6/23/96 King of the Ring.

This was 1996? (I'm still getting educated on my early Stone Cold so forgive me). Wasn't '96 when he coined the "Austin 3:16" phrase at King Of The Ring? If that's so then this couldn't be '96 could it?
