I agree I don't think that it would be good for her to run against Murkowski. I think once she establishes herself in Washington then she can run for president, because if she runs in 2012 she risks going the way of Dan Quayle, out of power and always aiming too high. She can build power and more influence gradually.
-
Googd thinking. If she doesn't mess up and I doubt that, she would be able to run for senate then. We would elected her. Murkowski is up in 2010 but I think it would be a mistake for her to run against her like she ran against Lisa's father; different people, different times.

Maybe Governor Palin can run for re-election in 2010 and then run for Senate in 2014. No matter what the senate seat will change hands, because Alaska is among the most Republican states in America and won't tolerate Begich's centre-left views.
-
Problem is you will never see the majority let any of its power given up with something like that. Begich is there for 6 years and he was lucky. Sadly you can break anything and it is very hard to fix.

I also knew that Ted Stevens was innocent. Ted Stevens did so much for Alaska and has brought so much money and significance to Alaska. I think Ted Stevens, given his seniority, should be able to have a special election. I don't see anything unconstitutional about it. To make it even more fair Alaskans could vote on whether to have a special election and Alaskans could coordinate the election with municipal elections.

Everyone lost because Begich is now the democrat that helped the bailout whihc Stevens would have opposed.
3:34 . your page makes a big deal out of liking kids. but you want people hanged and shot if they enforce law upon politicians. disturbing...

My Wild West Speak. We don't hang and shoot people, in fact in Alaska we have no Capital Punishment so up here it is a phrase that we all understand, WE CAN NOT DO!. My mother was always going to "Eat me alive" Never would she nor would she "Tan me within an inch of your (my) life."
But to deprive a state of a Senator because someone wanted him removed so much that they would corrupt the system, whether it was the lowest person in the group or someone very high outside the group ....(cont)

they should be punished to the highest extent that the law allows and I do hope they get it, but they will never change what they did to Alaska. They hurt Alaska, they hurt the US and they hurt all of us when they do this.
The hardest part is to distinguish what is good law from bad. Any law or officials under the color of law that is against "due process" is an illegal law. The Declaration of Indepence in it first sentence cite the "Laws of Nature" as our entitlement to leave Kings; (cont)

to leave others, to enjoy our liberties. For the corrupt in Federal Governement to use the law, to take property without "due process" is an illegal action. The process was defined and the governement did not follow it thus it was kicked out of the system. The system worked in the end, but that is like saying a tornado did its job. Yes it worked but it placed destruction on many in its path, including every Alaskan who believe in him. I have known Mark since he was 18. He is no Ted Stevens
