@fws831 I would agree he's the best open-ice hitter. He's always on my first or second lines on fantasy drafts. But I would have to disagree that he's the best defenceman of all time. I don't think anyone who knows hockey could ever say that Bobby Orr wasn't the best defenceman to ever play in the NHL.

Also, most of these hits are good hits, shoulder first into the chest- a lot of the damage is being caused by impact with the ice. The only thing I don't like about some of them is house his defensive partner railroads them into him, but hey, it was the 90s- whatever works!

the best hitter in hockey nuf said!!!! he was a clean hitter and it may look like an elbow but its cuz of momentum that his arms come up after!!! and lindros got lit up like a xmas tree!!!

if you think those are elbows you haven't played enough hockey. humans have elbows .... and when you lead a check with your hip/shoulder your arm natrually flys out afterward. in none of those hits does he come in with his elbow up.
