Newt Gingrich at a September 3, 2008 event with Michele Bachmann entitled Governing and Political Change, explains his position on Fannie and Freddie. He also details that he did consulting work for them, and that those who profited from the institutions should have to pay. • RON PAUL MONEYBOMB TODAY! Don't forget.

  • Well... just as he said in the debate... He consulted for them, he got paid for his work... as he should, and they did not take his advice. BTW.. this was before the meltdown and bailout. You would take the money too if your experience and knowledge were the same as his. I understand his is not attractive, he is a squatty toad, but he is smart, his plans would resolve our problems, and speaks his mind. Is he a flawed human being...yes... but so are you. The butt-plug in the oval office must go

  • @musingsavant the ethics charges David Bonior filed against Newt were ALL bogus. Every single one of them. In the end, what was Newt's "ethics problems"? One of the papers filed by his lawyers had an error and Newt didn't catch it. That little oversight cost $300,000.

    ALL ethics charges were dropped

  • I wouldn't pay Newt Gingrich 1.6 Million dollars to say these things about MY company...just sayin.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • FAKE ASS POLITICIAN!!!!!

  • @musingsavant ...which is why we have a judicial branch, so things like jim crow laws do eventually get overturned as they rise through the appellate system - the exact antithesis of what Newt is advocating. In his America, might makes right - and that is not "smart", that's barbaric.

  • @musingsavant . . . buuut still. He doesn't have nearly enough redeeming qualities to make up for all his bullshit. Voting for him is insane when there is a brilliant and honest man running against him. It's an absolute no-brainer.

  • @musingsavant Yes I see that is the case.

    . . .

  • @joshfrmn To be correct it was $300,000 for 1 violation. As he admitted that he brought discredit to the House and broke its rules by failing to ensure that financing for two projects would not violate federal tax law and by giving the House ethics committee false information. The other 84 were dismissed.

  • @musingsavant I don't mean to be a dick but seriously

  • @musingsavant How can you even think about voting in someone like this? Are you insane? Are you just ignorant? Are you just so easily swayed by his charm that you think "Oh... well, I'm not perfect either. Ya know what... I'm gonna vote for this guy. He actually seems really great." ?? This guy doesn't even COMPARE to Ron Paul lol!! I'll never understand. I will never understand. lol

  • @musingsavant He is a mail scam artist who hands out fake newt awards in exchange for a "donation", he was a lobbiest for a medicare company in favor of subsidies and made HUGE money with that, he used to be a global warming shill and now "isn't", he used to be for universal healthcare and now "isn't", and he advocated intervening in Lybia but then later said he would not have intervened, he was fined $300,000 for 84, yes, eighty four, ethics violations AS SPEAKER.
