you brainwashed fucktards, she didn't mean you were on the payroll of big oil, she meant that you are listening to and advocating bullshit spread by big oil.

Let's look at this another way. Let's say that Congress had made it illegal to grow wheat in most parts of the USA. Then lets say the price of bread goes way up. Logically, to bring down the price of bread, Congress should repeal the law banning wheat growing so we could grow more wheat, thus lowering the price of bread. But of you would probably think that I'm in the pocket of BIG WHEAT. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

That is flawed because wheat is a renewable resource, and congress had not previously allowed drilling and then banned it. It has never been allowed.

Go tell your parents what I told you. You've evidently been so brain-washed by your liberal teachers you can't think through a simple logical explaination, but here's a basic economic principle: when you put more of an item on the market, let say we flood the market with shampoo, the price of shampoo in the store will go down. If there's a shortage of shapmoo, the price of shampoo will go up. So increase the supply of wheat/oil and the price of bread/gas will go down.

Here's something to think about, oil will run out. Why don't we try and wean ourselves off of it and spend our public dollars on finding alternate sources of energy?
Regardless of whether your examples work or not, there still is not real reason that we need to go out of our way and destroy wildlife habitats of some already endangered species simply to allows us to continue an addiction.

Since oil is going to run out in hundred years we have to remain in poverty until new sources come on line. New sources of energy are not here are not here are practable for use yet, so we are to remain in poverty until they do? People like you said said the environment would be ruined we we began drilling in Prudhoe Bay Alaska. The environment in Prudhoe Bay is fine, so are the caribou and the polar bears, plus the beaches in Texas are great, you should visist them, next summer go to Galveston.

What does wanting lower gas prices have to do with Iraq? I thought you people on the left said that Iraq was a war for oil? One other thing, how do you get to and from wherever you want to go? I bet it's a car that runs on gasoline.

I thought we went over there to steel the oil from the poor innocent Iraq people? I am so confused! Where is all this oil we were going to steel?
