This is a short sound clip of the sound I got from swapping out my KLR stock muffler with a Jardine RT5. The whole ordeal took about 40 minutes, and the hardest part was getting the muffler to line up without touching the fender. Get yourself some high temp silicone and spring puller. It will make your life easier. Also, a deep socket 11mm socket wouldn't hurt, either.

  • I put the exhaust on first, sans jet kit and air filter. I could not tell a difference. When I did the jet kit and air filter also, it did not feel stronger, but the power was in a more useful place in themiddle of the rev range. Not a lot, but noticeable in the seat of your pants. Definitely not worth the money it cost, and I've since gotten tired of hearing it and went back completely stock.

  • Just installed a Stage 1 jet kit, and put in a K&N filter. It also has the SW-Motech crash bars on it, and an Eagle Mike's fork brace. Of all these things, the fork brace is the one I could not live without.
