  • so was the data on the hard drive recoverable?

  • It was not. :D

  • There are various ways to find something to do in life, and apparently killing poor old vintage laptops is one speciality. Well having been a user of one of these as brand new, it's kind of sad to see the clueless kids make themselves cool over destroying them.

  • ***COUGH PENTIUM ONE COUGH***

Its over ten years old. If you have one that is in working condition, thats great. This one was mine, and Ill do as I please. If you could see behind the doors of an electronics recycling shop, your heart would break.

Compare this to the actual "clueless kids" who destroy brand new gaming consoles, just to upset people who cant afford them and you will see the difference.

Even engineers at Panasonic liked the video.

    Sticks and stones...

  • BTW, those are PCMCIA slots, not Compact Flash :D

  • I realized this right after I had completed the editing, and It's ok :P

The entire thing was improv and non scripted, with about 3 hours of prep :P

  • Just plug the LCD back in, the ribbon cable just popped out , I bet you I can fix it and get it to boot up windows, I think it ran windows 98 or 95

  • ive found one at my grandpas house in his garage filled with old valuable junk. and i look through it and found one of these i want to get it working but i start it up and the screen goes all funny and its blue in the background and it has a blinking line on the top left after a while it says please press f1 to continue with setup or something like that is there anyway to get around this?

  • The screen hinges were always the weakest part of the CF-25 ;-)

  • I work at an e-recycling company and we get tons of vintageish computers in that must be detroyed because they arent worth anything in the market. We recently received quite a few of these cf-25 machines and they look pretty dark cool on the outside despite their age.

  • i have one in my lap now! I'm trying to convert it to XP
