  • Townshend is incredible. He was back in the day and still is today. Who cares about solos or rhythm superiority? When youre a guitar player, you play a guitar. And Townshend is an amazing guitar player.

  • If anyone doubts his talent, just see him live, it's where he really really shines...

  • .... underrated?

  • @TheInternetTroll100 tbh eddie was fuking amazing, he had everything you mentioned and more....he was the embodyment of the spirit of rock.........but its down to preference who u end up liking.

i like this guy too dont get me wrong, its SOO hard to play cool sounding slow stuff....but i dont think this guy even compares to Lynard Skynard or Led Zeppelin, the work they did makes this stuff sound like pop

  • I wonder ... How many pictures have already taken them??

Many photos! Virtually every place to which they will take photos of them .... must be over 1000! kkk '

  • first solo is the best

  • he wasn't much of a lead guitarist, but what made him a great lead guitarist was the emotion that he put into the songs and made it talk like how it was suppose to, that's an important part of the Who. He was only an amazing rhythm player AND a great lead guitarist. He knew exactly how to make it sound good and what's best for the song. It's not how fast or swift or amazing they are like eddie van halen and brian may, its what sounds pleasing and brilliant to the ear. thats a good guitarist.

  • underrated?? you kiddin... he is freakin awesome dude.... so crazy and psichedelic

  • Pete Townshend is a good guitarist.

  • Some of these butt-wipes who have the unmitigated audacity to suggest Townshend isn't 'as good' as their precious "shredder" idols....let me say this:

He was pioneering rock & roll when your parents were little toddlers.

    You're clueless...and to you I say....goodbye!
