suffering demons and saying the devil is in someone means they have issues or are possessed, that is not the same as saying that Betty Hutton is the blue eye devil in all of us. That sentence clearly calls her the devil.
-
One good thing about this interview is that Betty Hutton is allowed to talk and answer questions without being interrupted constantly.

@1876alamo Oh do listen to yourself. Betty Hutton is a blue eyed blonde who suffered the demons, the devil's in her. Why are people so keen to accuse others of such things?
-
Wow.
-
Why does the devil have blues eyes and blonde hair??? That is racist.

Thank you Betty for your honesty. You are so right when you talk about how difficult it is to live in the fantasy world of Hollywood. Your right, you have a ton of friends, when your riding high. However, the minute your career begins to go south, Hollywood will give you the cold shoulder. May you be in the comfort of God's love.
Peace be with you Betty

I'm so glad she finally found the peace that she had searched for all her life. She seemed like such a wonderful person and WHAT A TALENT! She has left a great legacy.

I'm reading Kristin Hersh's book "Rat Girl". Kristin and Betty went to college together. Betty seems so cool for doing it all on her terms.
-
such pep,..........so much, that she made me nervous to watch.

Pat Collins is the woman doing the interview.

You don't know what their relationship was. She says right in this 1978 interview that they were estranged. For whatever reason, their issues may not have been resolved. Nobody's business but their own.
