Hardfloor have long been masters of the TB-303. Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker have been collaborating together on electronic music projects since the early nineties. They initially found success as composers of electronic music, and went on to become two of the most in-demand remixers of the early nineties techno scene.
While their sound has primarily been attributed to acid house, their alternative take on the form has always proved fascinating. The term "acid house" was originally coined in Chicago, and later brought overseas to Europe.
Their first performance in Detroit has been long-awaited, and we did not give up on trying to get an interview with the duo. Later this month, stay tuned for our interview with Hardfloor after their performance at Movement 2007.
Hardfloor is awesome. Check them out.
