  • Thank you very much. I am 72 years old - a child of WW2. I was 12 or 13 when I bought and read "The Naked & the Dead (a 50 cent novel that had just appeared on the local drugstore paperback rack). From there to "Advertisements for Myself" and onward, he became a virtual mentor in my life. I have read about his times in Provincetown. Now, thanks to you, I have another anchor in my life concerning him. Your film is a work of art.

  • a lovely film I happened upon.Thank you.

  • I loved your book. I'm ashamed to say I didn't know much about Noman Mailer before I read it. Well, now I do. I like the video too. I'm glad you put the Martha clip on it. The image of the thought of baking a pie is still fresh in my mind. And that brings up the vest & the UGGs. What a picture. What memories you shared with us.

  • Dwayne,
