George A. Romero created a genre that cannot be taken away from him...although many have tried. Can't wait to see his two new ones "Of th Dead" and in 2011 or 2012 "Diary of the Dead 2." or maybe it's untitled I'm not sure. But his characters are awesome...usually underdog heroes and assholes who deserve a good gacking by becoming zombie dessert.

@eitnuxixelsyd "Of The Dead" was renamed "Survival of the Dead". It's currently in limited theatrical release here in the USA as well as available through On Demand.
Romero may have created/defined the current basis for "zombies", but his latest movie falls way short from his DAWN and NIGHT good 'ol days.

lol thats Tom Savini, i find that kinda funny (you'd know why if you've seen other George A. Romero zombie movies, (or most of the movies he's done the SFX on).

@dragonraider08 Yeah, he's in as a cameo because he was in the original version. So were Scott Reiniger (Military guy on TV) and Ken Foree (TV Preacher). They played Roger and Peter in the original DAWN. The woman's clothing store in the mall, Gaylen Ross, was a reference to the actress who played Fran. David Emge was totally MIA for the remake.
