  • Is this from The Hobbit?

I want to hear this song at my wedding, I'm sure that I want :)

  • @KingKalas I believe this is actually from The Two Towers. I am glad you enjoy it. :)

  • In Dwimordene, in Lorien Seldom have walked the feet of men, Few mortal eyes have seen the light That lies there ever, long and bright. Galadriel! Galadriel! Clear is the water of your well; White is the stars in your white hand; Unmarred, unstained is leaf and land In Dwimordene, in Lorien More fair than thoughts of Mortal Men.

  • yup i was right. its right at the spot i sayed it would be. and in the movie gandalf doesn't sing it but says only a few lines of it. good thing i always keep a copy of lotro full = all 3 or 6. :D

  • @sine02assass Well theres the fact that they dropped out some things from the book like the ending at shire and the part where they actually go to through the old forest and meet Tom Bombadil.

AND i MIGHT be mistaken on the book thing but it has to be there somewhere. :D

  • @joniman111fin really, never heard it in the film

  • Is that Sir Ian singing??

  • @Sienim1es no this song is not the lament for Gandalf. this is the lament for Gandalfs translated from the Elvish:

    The bonds cut,

    The spirit broken

The Flame of Anor has left this World

    Mithrandir, Mithrandir, O Pilgrim Grey!

No more you will wander the Orange world

Your journey has ended in darkness.

Undying [is] our regret, what should be shall be

Undying [is] our regret and yet we will cast all away,

What should be shall be, [our] love for this land [is] our regret.

  • @KingKalas i think this is the song that the elvs singed to gandalf memory?(: maybe

  • @joninman111fin Oh I understand :) Thank you

  • @KingKalas This is from the part where Grima Wormtongue insults lorien and its gueen galadriel. Full song found in the book, and yes its from The Two Towers.

  • A Elbereth Gilthonial, and all hail The Lady Galadriel!
