You know the sad thing is, if D was like Cutty and asked out of the game, Avon probably would have let him leave. D probably didn't think Avon had as much flex as he did. At times Avon had some genuine love for his people.

(SPOILER) it's so weird to think slim charles is the only free-standing, breathing member of the barksdale crew at the end of season 5...seems so odd.
