They were both great musicians and are greatly missed.

Tubby died almost twenty years ago (steel) and his brother Bob died (lead) about 13 or so years ago. They were both from Cleveland Ohio.

The legacy "Tubby" left with not only his family who loved him and Bobby so very much but the talent he pronounced on the steel will live in the hearts of all who were blessed to hear his sounds!!! and be taught by his hands....what an anointed gift he was given...Thank you Lord for allowing him to touch all of our lives with such a gift from YOU!!! A cousin who miss you'll so much!

Man, i was sure glad to stumble acroos this! I can remember when Tubby would come to Owensboro for the assemblies! Man what a time we would have! I truly miss hearing him play, but am I glad that I was blessed to experience his music live and boy would I dance!
