  • Just brilliant stuff!! The bashing of these guys for being Christian is so lame...they played with heart and soul!! Their orientation shouldn't even be an issue...isn't that what we all love about music anyway...and specifically about Rock? It's about freedom, not turning people away because they are different or unique.

  • the feeling between 1:39 and 2:27 is remarkable!

  • This song has no dislikes on it and I know why!...It is awesome!!!

  • the spider. A web of a song! awsome2!

  • Kansas wasn't a Christian band tho they did spawn one. Kerry Livgren and Dave Hope both left the band after finding Christ to for A.D. a Christian band. Kerry continued to write song's for the band and incorporated a lot of his own beliefs and that edge of searching that's prevalent in so much of their music.

Steve Walsh left the band in the 80s due to this, according to interviews at the time one felt he couldn't due justice to Kerrys lyrics since he didn't share his beliefs.

  • Right up there with Rush, , catching up to King Crimson.. LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF EVERYONE ELSE... THEN AND NOW.

  • Amazing, so much depth and wonderfully put together instruments. Nothing like todays music.

  • Not only a great song of a leader of men who loses his way. I think it even more interesting when followed by "Nobody's Home." It's not quite "Child Of Innocence," followed by "The Pinnacle," which seemed written to be played together, but it follows somehow.

As for the characterization of the band being "Christian," they were not, but songs often touched on themes which included Christian spirituality, yet they were clearly a secular band w/ Christian streaks. There be worse things to be.
