Bailout payments to AIG continue to face scrutiny as Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner prepares to go before Congress on Wednesday. Additionally, more senators have said they will not support the re-confirmation of Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman. What does all this mean for the US economy and its ongoing recovery?

  • We citizens of The United States need to gather all those responsible for this country's failures and hold a public execution rally in the town square .

    -Abe Lincoln

  • It is those who control America that create problems, not Americans, they are the victims as well, not at least for their propaganda machine.

  • What most people don't realize is that due to the nature of our monetary system (aka, based on debt, no gold standard, and the majority of the money isn't printed, but in bank files and computers), to let the banks fail would have destroyed the monetary system itself.

They had to bail them out to maintain the monetary system; The issue everyone overlooks is that the monetary system itself is flawed, and has been since Nixon, or arguably, since the Woodrow Wilson administration.

  • The only way to beat the banksters and criminal elements within the US is to keep your family together. You have a bigger impact than what you think when you spend most of all your time with your children rather than your job. Thats how you become rich! Be rich, now!

These days that translates to give them a second term and a big bonus in their stocking.
