Yeah........ I've been telling people to protest Deaf Nation. One of my personal friend won the trip - Kudos to him. He wanted me to participate and I said no way.

no direct action? A simple way to expose their underhand dealings if true is to write, call or email Korean Tourist Organisation who's footing the bill?

I forgot to add something to the comment. Follow your feeling guts all the time. It often is right and very powerful. I had that kind feeling many time and it end up right about certain situation.

Wow, it is ok to be green Lathern freak lol. I used to collect dolphins. I have a lot of them now in my bookshelf. Also I am charmed Freak. I have dvd of Charmed. I did watch Ray's vlog about VRS. I made decision that Convo has my full support now since Ray and you had told truth about VRS.

Do you know how the business model of DeafNation is run? I wonder how Barish brothers get paid? Somehow, I feel there is shady going in its operation. I start to like DeafNation since Joel have become less about himself. In earlier version, it was Joel, Joel, and Joel. I am glad see Joel exposing deaf people beyond the border. Wish could see Barish Brothers take more corporate social responsibility.

DEAF NATION EMPLOYEES SHOULD NOT QUALIFY OR PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST.. JUST LIKE OTHER COMPANIES THEY HAVE CONTESTS.. THEY FORBID THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES TO BE INVOLVED IN CONTESTS.. THAT S CALLED FAIRISM!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Alas, Deaf Nation is following the concept of elite group to select high end individuals for free tours in South Korea. I would say it is called unethical approach. I realize that Deaf bloc is using communist approach for screening and selecting individuals to represent the Deaf community. Isn’t it fair?

You know, Ridor 9th, I read the contest rules but I noticed that it's biased because of the fact that most contests uses independent judges, and that KTO is not involved in the selection process. You merely can be selected with just a photo as Joel can determined if you are physical able to hike, so forget about the elderly with the walking cane, the obese, what have you. Secondly, I suspected the winners was already preselected making it almost impossible to book a trip to LAX on short notice.
