  • What a waste to build in to that box... :)

  • @Intosia waste of box? :p

  • @lesingemonotone lol no, waste of x0xb0x ;) Why spend so much on parts, and not build the default x0x case?

  • @Intosia Since I sourced all the parts myself I wanted it to show by not using that lame pac-tec box that everyone uses for everything like midibox and such. But the best thing would have been to cram it into a silverbox looking like a 303 off course. ;)

  • how long did it take you to make it

  • @GudmundurThor96: 4-5 days of lazy building.. :)

  • i fuck wit it

  • @lesingemonotone Sure the stock casing is nothing fancy, i'd take it over a tupperware box any time :D

  • Leetenat, push all long lead components as close as you can to the board.LED's are supplioed with standoffs in the kits. When soldering, remember to heat the lead first , then apply solder. Goodluck, it was my first kit too!

  • Do all of the internal components get soldiered flush against the x0xb0x main and switch boards?

I know that the chips go flush against the board, but in some analog devices an LED might have a little length between the board and the bulb as well as other components.

    .

  • I have a kit that I need to build, but I’ve never soldered LED's and many of the other components. I'm a total noob that has only soldered simple devices such as ground cable, rca's, DJ mixer components, and DJ headphone wire.
