Ahihi Bay Maui is a fabulous nature preserve where you get high density great fish and schools of Ta'ape which are Blue Stripe Snappers. And, if you're really patient and take your time, you can just about join their schools.

  • Were you at Dumps, Fish Bowl, or the first snorkeling spot where all the tourists go? You can't hike to fish bowl anymore, its closed now. D: I've never seen this fish at Dumps! All of it is Ahihi Kinau Preserve, anyway.

  • Aloha Miss60s, yes they are edible, very nice white flesh. Catch and eat plenty as they are an introduced non-native species and since not that popular with locals no one fishes for them so they overpopulate the reefs. Very underrated fish here but VERY popular in their native French Polynesia.

  • i just caught 2, is it edible?

  • Drew,

I am a Dive Instructor in Alaska and bought one of your old Bread machines at a garage sale. I just went diving and made my first loaf of bread and see you are a Diver as well.

My Cornell Bread turned out great too.
