  • Do you still have the truck?

  • @idiforddiesel: yes but it isn't mine. It's in the family and I don't have access to it all the time. Poor thing is just sitting most of the time...makes me sad.

  • how come does diesels how different tachs then the gas trucks

  • Most diesels just have lower redlines and allow for mountains of torque at low rpms...that's what I love about them!

  • is the truck a nonpowerstroke

  • yup

  • For some reason I like the instrument cluster found in this generation of pickups best, I need to get the tach and the four-piece gas/temp/battery/pressure for my 87 pickup.

  • @gotveggieoil Anyway, I guess I don't know much about veggie oil. My knowledge is limited, I only have 23 drums, 55 gallon plastic drums full of the stuff. My record collection is 500 gallons in just 2 hours running off the power of my pickup truck batteries with 3500 watt inverter. I'm hear to tell you the centrifuging is not the way to filter it. And despite filtering it to 1 micro with filter bags, it will still settle out in your tank over time. Below 5 microns the food smell is out.

  • Good the important thing is that you know your role!!!

Now become a mute and do us all a favor!

  • @gotveggieoil Obiously with a name like "gotveggieoil" you must be a god or something, so I'm going to bow down to you right now and kiss your feet you mother fucker.

  • What the hell do you know about WVO usage..Shut up and sit down!!

  • @351COUNTRYBOY My 94 Peugeot 405 has the same tach as the gas model :). It redlines at 6,000 and so does the 1.6 gas :).

1.8 gas redlines at 7,000 tho!
