its a nice unit, i would still like the adjustable grates and a ventelated lid would be nice on those windy days or not.

Never use charcoal indoors...carbon monoxide is very poisonous. Not even remotely worth the risk even with ventilation. Btw, make sure you have carbon monoxide detectors in your house.

Would it be possible to use one of these in the house if you put it in your fireplace? I also have glass doors on mine so could shut them if it gets too smoky. Just wondering if I could do this indoors when it's rainny or in winter. Thanks alot.

Never tried that. Sounds like a good idea during cold weather. I would think that if you had your fireplace damper open that the grill smoke would exit through the chimney just like a fire would. Let me know how it works out if you try it. Maybe make a YouTube video of the process!!

Thanks for the nice comments. Have not grilled any fish yet. Still loving the the grill and looking forward to using it more this Spring.
