True story: I really did grow up with the love of the perfume of oil, grease and diesel ... and yes, I really did fall in love with Ruby the truck-stop queen!

Ruby was the truck-stop queen
I'd stop by for a little love-caffeine
She take me down and show me things I'd never seen

She'd do fish and she'd do fries
The way she served up that cherry pie
I got my first taste I thought I'd die
Coming back for more and more each day

But I was just a little kid
I'd dream 'bout what the big guys did
Drive those demon diesel dumper trucks
