Birds can sometimes be a problem in or around the home. Our Sparrow trap is both easy to use and very effective. Here we show you some trapped birds and how to release them once caught.

  • Never, ever release house sparrows, once caught. The only way to release them is to release their body one direction and their head the other... in other words, kill 'em!

Because, I have a 14 nestbox bluebird trail and I have seen the destruction these "innocent" birds visit upon our NATIVE species. It's not pretty. Find Tree swallows on youtube. Look for S 5-1 Tree Swallow babies 08-07-07 Only one left-A. The house sparrows 4 out of 5 nestlings, but left it scarred: bloody peck marks on its bill, and its right eye swollen shut or destroyed, I'm not sure. Then tell me how innocent they are. They kill other birds, so I kill them.

  • They make great pets. Those who want to kill them after trapping should at least try to offer them up as pets to people who will care well for them.

  • @yomamab2002 please, if you catch sparrows instead of killing them, give me at least one or two of those little birds. I than you in advance. I adore little sparrows:)))

  • @ongawesgone HEAR HEAR!!!! I agree completely.

  • where can I get a trap like this one please???

  • Oh nooo!!! You actually released those vermin for them to go out and terrorize native birds! I have bluebirds and tree swallows here every year and know firsthand that those awful NON-native house sparrows will kill those native birds. I eliminate house sparrows and starlings as much as I can and have multiple traps (also an air rifle) here to do the job. Releasing those terrible birds is like dumping your trash in other people's yards! I kill them so they won't kill our native birds!

  • i wouldnt release a sparrow they will just go into someone else's house

  • hi mate i have just started building an Indian myna trap and by the looks yours seem to work quite WELL (for sparrows) My question is HOW BIG IS THE OPENING FOR BIRD entry as i am trying to work out dimensions for trapping flying rats (mynas)

  • remember: sparrows kill. so, KILL THEM.

  • Dispose em! There are many uses for them. I have used them in crayfish traps, to bait other traps, fed em to my cats. I have seen recipes for em for human consumption as well, but have not tried it myself yet.

  • @ongawesgone moreover not all the birds trapped in the videos were house sparrows. They shd hv released the other birds and killed the house sparrows...
