Bad Side video diary from the Bell Border Jam with Blue Oyster Cult, Sass Jordan, Seven Mary Three, Kim Mitchell & more On the road in Canada and the Bell Border Jam was totally kick ass! The promoters and workers of this show were top notch and classy peeps that treated us like the rock royalty that we hope to be someday!
We were invited and treated to VIP festivities on the Friday evening with catered dining and drinks while we enjoyed the music of Foghat as our entertainment. Saturday's fun rocked with more of the VIP treatment as we rocked out to Badfinger, Sass Jordan and Kim Mitchell. On a side note: Sass Jordan was such an awesome lady - see our Brushes with Fame pics in the photos section!
Sunday was a kick-ass day with more of the pampering - we had our own air conditioned trailer right next to Blue Oyster Cult's and it was the perfect escape from the heat. It was 85 degrees out and a hot sweaty sticky rock and roll show for us - but hey - that IS rock and roll! B.O.C. were awesome with Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot/Whitesnake/Ozzy) on bass and Bobby Rondinelli (from Rainbow) on drums. They were a classy bunch, too - as Eric Bloom had to leave due to a death in the family but they still performed for the peeps minus Eric's presence! Check out the COWBELL at about the 5 minute mark of the video for those fans of the Sat Night Love Cowbell sketch
Our thanks to everyone involved with Bell Border Jam (Mike C., Mike S, Eugene the roadie machine, Greg Marshall, George Ravelich & all the crew!!)
Here is a recap video diary including some live footage from the shows!
