Heavy Rain: Plotholes

Obvious spoilers ahead!

Of course there's plenty of plot points that are kind of odd, including Ethan's blackouts and how all of these trials are put together, but this point bothered me the most. After reviewing the footage, I supposed it is POSSIBLE, but damn, that old man moves fast.

If you just gonna show the death of Manfred plothole, why did you put so much things before??

The game isn't a mess...it's excellent but its script SUCKS and there's really no way for you to RATIONALLY infer who the killer is. You can only make an instinctive guess. Shelby goes through too much trouble for you to suspect him. Wouldn't it have been more convenient for him not to recoop the letters and origamis he had given the parents of his victims and leave those items in their possession ? Why would he meet the parents and risk being linked to those origamis in the future ?

I see many fans like to twist things to defend this plothole. Maybe they can also explain why those kids didn't die of hypothermia while in water, why Ethan forgot an origami, exactly like the killer's, in his psychiatrist's chamber, how his broken ribs healed in less than a day, why Shelby went to see Manfred in the first place since it was more convenient for him go somewhere else, why he was surprised to see Manfred dead, Lauren wasn't with him so he didn't need to act like he was shocked.

well.. press the button to hear what the characters thinking is the biggest plot hole.. because none of the stuff that shelby says is ACTUALLY what he was thinking.
