As we are sent forth, how much fuel of compassion do we carry in our hearts? Enough to illuminate the face of Wisdom any time, or only enough to burn on our own schedules?
this is great, Steve. I loved your comments about becoming Eucharist. So Bernard Cooke of you! ... that old Latin "Ite Missa Est" ... The translation is unclear, even by scholars, but I like the one that says, "Go, it is sent," awkward, but I like to interpret this as, "Go forth, you are sent," rather than "Go, it is ended." -- again, an inspired homily. Keep up the good work. And good job keeping it between 7-10 minutes!
