This was very stimulating and worthwhile, and of course the music is very nice. In its tuneful and folk-influenced sounds it reminds me of the Tirez Tirez band. After having recently seen the new Arthur Russell documentary, and seeing his early folk-influenced music, I can hear parallels between your and his music, if only because you both came to New York from states in the agricultural Midwest. It's just my thought, as an enthusiast of both of your musics.

Speaking from a minority point of view, this video would possibly be worth showing within a conference/forum format, with a Q & A after screening. Minority organizations may possibly be a good source to open dialogue between majority and minorities. Indirect media information about minorities without direct experiences with the peoples can be a detached but 'safe' way, but how accurate is such a viewpoint? Minorities have publications, media, as well to share ideas from the 'horse's mouth'...
