Inspired by FIFA World Cup campaign of 'Say No to Racism', the Penang State Government is also launching the same call to stop racism. On 5th July, 2010 Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng together with several Exco members have shown the banners to members of the media.
At the same time, CM Lim also made a call to ban race-based political parties in Malaysia. He said those political parties which accept only one single race is primitive and should be replaced with political parties like those in Pakatan Rakyat which accepts members from all races and religions.
