@oldlonesomesong Lol i listen to all kinds of music. And i just so happen to love Outcast. But this song has some good memories attached to it. And in response to you i say go listen to BOBs Just because im losing :) Also T.I. has some very good motivational songs. But u have to admit there is a lot of crap being played on our radios nowadays. Lol nowadays... im only 29 ;)

@TheWILLTV he means exactly what it says, it's just that too many negations in this sentence confuses us, so i'll put in other words:
He wishes he didn't know things, that in the past he had no awarenesss of, so he didn't suffer/cared for them. Ever heard the phrase: "Ignorance is bliss?". That's exactly what this part of the song is dealing with.
This song is beatiful...USA had the best bands back in the 80's ... Wish I was born at that time to fully enjoy it.
