Sound & visual quality has really degraded from Part 1. But the content is still so good I'm putting up with it. Can't find this anywhere else on YouTube & Hayek is a Nobel Prizewinning genius. The modern intelligentsia has pushed Hayek to the margins because he undermines their intellectual herd romance with collectivism & statism. One must search long & hard to find economics faculties anywhere that still teach Classical Liberal economics like the Austrian School - or even the Monetarists.

Thanks for posting this easy intro to Hayek's bio and ideas. Wish the blurry visual and muddy audio didn't detract from the overall positives of the video.

I'm shocked that I haven't heard of Hayek until recently. Glad I did. Enjoying these videos, thanks for posting them!

I know how you feel. I took economics in college in the early 80's and Hayek wasn't mentioned. I Learned about him several years ago and he says exactly what I have learned from classical education I put my self thru since the end of college. The classical liberals were on to individualism, including Adam Smith, and they steered away from statist govts. All of the enlightenment was pro liberty. Hayek inmo is just another enligthenment philosopher from a long line of them. It's a continuum.
