assembly bill no. 390 according to the press release from assemblyman ammiano's official website is:

groundbreaking legislation that would tax and regulate marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol.

The Marijuana Control, Regulation, and Education act (AB 390) would create a regulatory structure similar to that used for beer, wine and liquor, permitting taxed sales to adults while barring sales to or possession by those under 21. "I support this legislation because I feel this issue should be the subject of legislative and public debate," said current San Francisco Sheriff Mike Hennessey. Orange County Superior Court Judge (retired) James P. Gray added, "Assemblymember Ammiano is to be applauded in addressing this critical issue honestly and directly."

His son died of an overdose because he was doing hard drugs. Weed has nothing to do with coke, meth, or heroin. Fattie's kid died because he was an asshole who stole money from his parents and did hard drugs. Marijuana users are often responsible adults who hold jobs, pay taxes, raise children, and wouldn't think of trying other shit ever. Equating weed to hard drugs is what got us into this mess in the first place.

I believe that the War on Drugs is a joke. It should never have been waged in the first place. I believe that responsible adults should be allowed to use marijuana, be it for medical use or recreational use.

Legalize Marijuana in Mississippi. Weed is not a drug, it is a medicine. It grows naturally, not man-made like crack, meth, etc. God made the plants and the earth.
