seriously chinese are spoken differently in each district,and we have our own dialects,cantonese,hokkien,hai­nan,hakka,bla bla bla...(and not just mandarin/cantonese)

@Creuzillion my point is someone who is not chinese should not say what is and what is not chinese because Chinese people identify the language that they speak is chinese regardless of whether it is cantonese mandarin or a dialect, so where can someone get the audicity to say that chinese is not a language

@finaldestinyx Some people, especially the Americans, will mistake you for speaking Cantonese(if you are speaking Mandarin), or some others would assume that you're speaking Mandarin(if you are speaking Cantonese).
