Upper feed hopper (collects virgin and recycle product) to 1/2 HP 230/460V variable speed horizontal feed screw (controlled feed) into 5 HP 230/460V variable speed vertical feed screw (which pre-compresses and deaerates product) into 15 HP 230/460V chilsonator rolls (with manual hydraulic actuator for regulating pressure on rolls) to Falk model 8C3-02A6 Gearbox 56.91:1 ratio, service rating 15 HP. Chilsonator alone weighs approx. 8,500 lbs. After rolls, product drops into a 7.5 HP 230/460V Fitzpatrick model DKASO-12 (serial number 8097) Comminutor with fixed knives.
