I bought my 1972 Malibu 8/12/72. It still runs great and has 350 motor, 2 bbl, turbo hydramatic. I don't drive it much anymore but she runs excellent. I wonder if I had purchased Japanese in 1972 if the car would still run and look great....

Don't know how I missed this one Roxanne, you sent it to me, only now I saw it! Positraction is great, but you can get into trouble easily with it if you are not ready for the slides back and forth. No matter, I still prefer having positraction in either case. Beats the one wheel appeal or peg-leg syndrome. Regarding the 4X4 thing, the first vehicles in ditches are the 4X4's always, it does not matter what, your co-efficient of friction is still only on 4 patches of rubber on turns/stopping.

posi. traction is ok. AWD is better. 4x4 is great. my friends mom had a 2WD we had to push her everywhere. it sucked. lol
