@ramonvago The same song played on the same gear but different pickups so you can hear the difference the pickups make. none of this is about showing how good I am, just how different the pickups are.

@kyral210 Hmmm... Nice idea... But that would cost a bundle... Will this babies works with my current 3-band EQ in my Ibanez SR300?

I'm planning on putting the SSB-4's in my Epi IV Thunderbird, do you need to change the pots?

I'm interested in getting these PUs in my Schecter Diamond Deluxe-4 which uses Schecter PUs which doesn't sound that bad, but I'm looking for something that excels that and sounds excellent. Do you guys think that'd be a wise choice? I'm into playing 70s-80s hard rock and blues ATM, and I intend to add some prog rock and funk to it. I also use a Boss ME50B to customize the sound.

I would say yes if you have a 3 band EQ system with a blend pot. I currently have V-V-T-T, which works, but I am upgrading to the EQ system soon as my Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass with the EQ system just works so much better in sculpting the sound to my perfect taste!
