My name is Lisa Reynoso. I have been sewing for over 10 years. I recently took a course in dressmaking and design, and now consider myself a professional seamstress, although I sew mostly for myself and my family. The dress shown here took me about an hour to make, start to finish (not including making the video itself). I made the pattern as I went along. I think you'll agree it turned out very nice.

Thanks for posting. Some helpful tips there. Perhaps move along a lot a bit more quickly. Also, you refer to "right angles" when you're discussing the skirt pattern that you drew, please note that a right angle is 90 degrees and the angles you indicated were not 90degrees. Just a bit confusing.

hi there. can you show how to make a simple kids dress out of a pillow case with only a sewing machine and no other tools really. All the videos on youtube for pillowcase dresses all show how with cutting tools, measure boards and other things more advanced. I just wanna see with sewing machine, scissors, thread and ribbon. :-)

I will not have to buy another dress lol I think you had the great idea and once I get my basics down and learn my machine when I get it that what I'm going to be making and the you tell how to make is well put
