  • エセル・エニス、べっとり黒人らしくない黒人女性ヴォーカルの最高峰、彼女のLPが聞けたのはなんと80年代だった、このサラっとしたお洒落さがイイ! #jazzm

  • Class!

  • There's a play entitled "Black Picture Show" (Bill Gunn) in which one character prepares another for the appearance of their dinner guests with the line "They're going to see Ethel Ennis so they'll be dressed." She has a select following.

  • But she sounds great! What a beautiful song! It's better than all this trash that's out today.

  • I never even heard of her.

  • Class.

  • We'll be at the Creative Aliance to see her October 16!

  • Ethel is making a *rare* appearance at a venu called the Creative Alliance in baltimore on october the 16th (friday).

  • Ethel was a regular at the King of France Tavern - a great jazz venue- in Annapolis, MD back in the 80's. She has superb pipes and a great repetoire of jazz standards, having once toured with Benny Goodman.
