  • Again, looking at an interview of him from 1972, he looks about 15-20 years older than he does here.

  • Are you sure this is 1970? This is black and white and appears to be from the late 50's...

  • Master if suspense, indeed! He also is the master of manipulating, soliciting emotions from the audience. Same as Steven Spielberg and his ability to manipulate the audiences emotions. Amazing guys!

  • He would. My family and I were watching South By Southwest and it was pretty gripping for a movie from 1959.

  • Sadly many directors think shock and awe makes a good movie. But this is totally

    inacurrate, its the suspense that holds a audience and creates a visual image not

    scene on the screen.Alfred Hitchcock would be apalled at movie making of today.

    He was truly a remarkable man and a brilliant film maker.
