Every year more than 2,000 babies die in the U.S. from sudden infant death syndrome. Although experts have not yet pinpointed the cause for SIDS, there are things parents can do to reduce their childs risk. Dr. Bruder Stapleton, Pediatrician-in-Chief, has some tips for parents.
@JudyJo55 Im sorry there is many things you can do To prevent SIDS. Research the products that are used for and around your baby. PVC in crib mattresses and most of all VACCINES. my baby brother dies from SIDS 5 days after his FULL VACCINATION. i will not preach i will only plant the seed for you all to do your own research and make your own conclusions. This is something i am OBVIOUSLY VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT. I will do everything I can to get the WORD OUT and CHANGE THE STATUS QUOT.

I was wondering does severe insomnia cause sudden infant death syndrom? I happen to have sever insominia and I know that if I have three days of sever insominia then I get this fluttering 'can't breath effect'. Only I know that that 'can't breath effect' means I will die. I have actually used cough medication to cause me to sleep after three days of insomina. If you get by the 'can't breath effect' then you go to day 4 insominia. One nyquill pill to sleep.
