Not necessarily. May pros and cons din yan. Nakakasindak ang boses kapag malaki. You can either use it to your advantage to get what you're demanding, or you can intimidate clients. Meron akong kasama dati na boses kiki pero nakaka kolekta ng malaki (collections kasi kami). I guess it's not really sa voice but how you convince people. Sa tech support, any voice will do as long as you can explain things well, at pasensyoso ka. Good luck sa career! Ingats! :-)

hello do you easily get hired when applying to a call center? because i had a friend he apply to a call center almost 15 call canter but dont get hired he shared that to me but he's an it graduate of a good school here in cebu is it really hard to be hired on a call center? but currently he's working now in a call center

@cathycampos33 Some say it's difficult, some find it easy that they work and move from one call center to another. If your friend didn't make it to a call center for the 15th time, then he has to reflect if he has what call centers are looking for. Being an IT grad isn't a guarantee he'd get a job easily.

I have a colleague who worked as a domestic helper in Kuwait and learned to communcate in English and speaks it very well. I also have another colleague who worked as a saleslady in Divisoria and can can collect payments thru calls. There are lots of factors call centers look for other than passing their tests.

Your friend should assess himself if he's able to handle interviews well, other than passing their tests. Call centers like outspoken people, that's one thing. :-)
