News Update: Apple Inc. & China Unicom Reportedly Strike iPad Deal

Customers in China may soon see Apple Inc's (NASDQ:AAPL) iPad complete with 3G wireless data support, thanks to China Unicom's (NYSE:CHU) rumored completed deal with Apple, reports the Mac Observer Tuesday.

A change in China's policy recently allowed China Unicom to offer the iPhone 3GS with Wi-Fi support beginning in July.

China Unicom will also reportedly sell iPhone 4s sometime next month.
