@mysterycurleywolf The song has a jazz-feel to it and no one did that in Southern Gospel like Garry Jones. The piano part isn't intended to mirror the vocals....it's doing entirely it's own accompaniment. You won't hear that kind of playing in a local church. ....or from most live quartet players, either. They don't have the ear for it.
