Onto the next battle...I think I kind of overprepared for this one. After the beating I got from the previous one, it was kind of surprising that this match wound up being as one-sided in my favor as it was.

I should see if I can get a battle where Ditto transforms into a member of my team besides Abomasnow. Ditto is a very fun Pokémon to use, so I bring him along whenever possible.

After the battle, I selected "Yes" to see how the strategy I planned from the start would've worked--I wanted to show why Abomasnow has Solarbeam, so I might as well reveal Nidoking's moves. Nidoking has Sunny Day, you see. If someone comes in with a grass vulnerability and carries no Fire moves, Nidoking uses Sunny Day, and Abomasnow immediately goes into a chargeless Solarbeam. The situation has occurred far less frequently than I had hoped (that is, never).

I used Nidoking, Abomasnow, Ditto, and Mantine (unseen). My opponent used Infernape, Rhydon, Raticate, and Parasect. Those are a lot of Generation 1 Pokémon in there.

  • how do u get pokemon?

  • @marpoke123 What do you mean? I don't fully understand your question.

  • @Overhazard like get new pokemon for your team like ditto nidoking etc

  • @marpoke123 These are copied over from a DS Pokémon game. PBR accepts the Diamond, Pearl, PLatinum, HeartGold, and SoulSivler version. These Pokémon come from the Diamond version.

  • @Overhazard does pokemon white work?

  • @marpoke123 No, it doesn't.

  • @Overhazard i never demanded anything, all i said was wtf is up with his set-up and choices.

  • @muffinboy101010 Check Smogon. Parasect is in OU right now.

Also, you should never demand any opponent to play seriously. Everyone is free to play in whatever way they wish. That's why I respect all of my opponents, regardless of what they do, even unrepentant hackers and other assorted cheaters. It's all part of good sportsmanship.

  • @Garbodium ditto.

i said: "pachirisu, raticate, parasect, rhydon. these are 'squishy ' pokemon." which are the ones im talking about. this was my second comment.

i said "what serious trainer", not a person that is "far from a beginner." your implying that a "beginner" (aka noob) uses these, or that i said these are noob to use.

the opponent has no such moves are far as we know. nor does he seem to have anything plan. EX: his first attack.

  • @muffinboy101010 Can I ask your permission to leave now? I really don't want to fight with someone who's so stalwartly convinced that he's right. But here's a quick rundown 1. You misspoke 2. You clearly said that his Pokemon were bad. I'm not going to cite you again, so forget about it. 3. I never said that you said that using them was "noob." 4. I said that they take to skill to use, not that the opponent had such skills. And I'd argue that Acrobatics and Thief are better without a held item.
